Cygwin-devel-3.1.2-1 - cygwin-devel: Core development files cygwin32-2.10.0-1 - cygwin32: Cygwin 32bit toolchain cygwin32-2.6.0-1 - cygwin32: Cygwin 32bit toolchain (installed binaries and support files). Cygwin install process actually sets up /usr/bin as a hardlink to /bin. (Do ls -li /usr/ and ls -li / and you'll see the bin folders have the same inode number. Also, browse to the /usr/bin folder in windows explorer and you'll see it's empty.) Your PATH is probably fine, but probably has /usr/bin before /bin, so it's finding awk via that route.

when compile cv in Cygwin or MingW, compiler complain missing header: CYGWIN: cv.c:37:22: fatal error: linux/fs.h: No such file or directory MINGW32: cv.c:32:23: fatal error: sys/ioctl.h: No such file or directory by googling those issue has no quick fix in header level, can you add support to then by modify the source code? thanks. |

There is no way cv would work on windows - even if it did it will only show you progress of applications in cygwin, not on windows. |

Supporting windows would probably require quite a lot of work (and maintainability issues ? will probably stay in a separate branch). And would it be really useful for this platform ? I'm open to patches, but won't try the job myself (yet). |

You would need to use psapi. It is certaily possible but requires a completely different backend. |

Does git up work under cygwin? I assumed ruby would be portable. I just updated to cygwin latest and see this error. Had the same error with my cygwin from oct-2013 prior to update. |

Logged issue #63 for posix-spawn, it's probably their issue. |

Editing line 503 of ~/.gem/ruby/gems/posix-spawn-0.3.9/lib/posix/spawn.rb fixes issue. Removed override of cygwin to cmd.exe. Remove keyword cygwin from checks, change to |
